PIANO TUNING
Ryan Robertson is a DFW native and the owner of Robertson Piano Services, serving families, teachers, churches, schools, and performance venues throughout the metroplex. A full-time piano technician of 7 years and lifelong musician, he combines strong technical knowledge with a deep understanding of what makes a piano enjoyable to play and hear.
Ryan began learning piano by ear at an early age and later took up the trumpet in middle school, building a strong foundation in music theory and performance. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University and a master’s degree from Southern Methodist University, both in trumpet performance. He has taught private music lessons for school districts including Allen ISD and Coppell ISD and also has experience teaching piano and guitar.
Since entering the piano service field in 2018, Ryan has trained under experienced technicians, including the head piano technician at SMU, and completed an apprenticeship while continuing to teach and perform. In 2019, he transitioned into full-time piano service after acquiring an established tuning business, allowing him to focus entirely on professional piano care.
Ryan provides concert-level tuning, repairs, action regulation, and cleaning. He is honored to serve as the recommended piano technician for Certain Music Studio and loves helping students get the most out of their pianos.
Ryan lives in Melissa, TX with his wife and 7 kids and when he isn’t working on pianos he enjoys golfing, barbecuing, jogging and making his kids laugh. Above all, he puts his faith in Jesus Christ and aims to do excellent work to the glory of God.
